GLACĖAU VITAMINWATER – NEW YORK- PROMOTIONAL COMPETITON RULES

1. This Promotional Competition is organised by Coca-Cola South Africa, a division of Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited (“Organiser”).

2. The competition is open to residents and citizens of South Africa, who are aged 18 years and older and in possession of a valid South African Passport and ID. Winners and Partners must ensure that their passports are valid for travel, their passports are valid to have a visa to enter the United States of America endorsed at the time of travel and they are available to travel from 5 – 11 April 2012.

3. Employees, directors, members, partners, agents or consultants or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Organiser and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Organiser, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies shall not be permitted to enter the competition (“Disqualified Participants”).

4. By entering the Promotional Competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Organiser, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Organiser reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Organiser reasonably deems necessary.

5. The promotional competition commences on 27 October 2011 and ends on 23 December 2011 both days inclusive.

6. Participants stand a chance to win 1 (one) of the 8 (eight) instant prizes of either 1 × 2GB Apple iPod shuffle, or 1 × Branded Cooler Bag, or 1 × Mac make-up voucher, or 1 × Branded Beach Umbrella, or 1 × Branded Beach Towel, or 1 × 500 ml glacéau vitaminwater product, or 6 × 500 ml glacéau vitaminwater product, or 1 × Branded Key Ring. To stand a chance of winning one of the Prizes, participants must purchase 6 x 500ml of any glacéau vitaminwater product (“Participating Product”) on the specific dates of the competition, and at the specific location as listed above in clause 9. The participants may purchase the Participating Product from any store in the participating mall. The participant must retain the till slip and present it to the promoters in the participating mall, on the day of purchase and promotion. The promoters in the participating mall will retain the till slip as proof of purchase and will give the participant 1 (one) scratch card for each purchase of 6 (six) Participating Products accompanied with the till slip. The participant is then entitled to score the scratch card and must immediately redeem the instant prize from the promoters in the participating mall.

7. The participants who have received scratch cards are automatically entitled to write their full Name and Surname, Contact Number and Email Address on the back of the scratch card, and place the duly completed scratch card into the entry box provided by the promoters, in the participating mall, to stand a chance to win 1 (one) of the 5 (five) Grand Prize packages to New York City and may select a partner to accompany them on their trip. The Grand Prize packages include 5 (five) nights’ accommodation in a 5 star hotel, travel on economy class to and from New York from whichever city in South Africa the Grand Prize winners reside, an allowance of R10 000 per couple, the cost of the necessary travel visa, airport transfers and 1 × New York Tour (the “Grand Prize”). The Organiser will not be responsible for any other expenses which the winner may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of a Prize, whether foreseen or not.

8. Participants may enter the promotional competition at any of the participating retail malls (“participating mall(s)”) and at the specific locations listed below, on the specific dates indicated:

Johannesburg – Clearwater Mall (Sheet Street from 10 – 13 November 2011), Clearwater Mall (Sheet Street from 24 – 27 November 2011), Cresta Shopping Centre (Levi’s Court from 1 – 4 December 2011), Eastgate Mall (Stationary Court from 24 – 27 November 2011), Eastgate Mall (Mugg & Bean from 15 – 18 December 2011), East Rand Mall (Woolworths Court from 8 – 11 December 2011), Greenstone Mall (Miladys Court from 17 – 20 November 2011), Sandton City Mall (Lower Woolworths Court from 3 – 6 November 2011) and Sandton City (Upper Fountain facing Edgars from 27 – 30 October 2011);

Pretoria – Menlyn Park Shopping Centre (Cavendish Mini from 3 – 6 November 2011) and Woodlands Boulevard Mall (Woolworths Court from 10 – 13 November 2011);

Cape Town – Canal Walk (Checkers Court from 3 – 6 November 2011), Canal Walk (Checkers Court from 24 – 27 November 2011), Canal Walk (Pick ‘n Pay Court from 8 – 11 December 2011), Cape Gate Mall (Pick ‘n Pay Court from 10 – 13 November 2011), Cape Gate Mall (Pick ‘n Pay Court from 15 – 18 December 2011), Somerset Mall (Centre Court from 17 – 20 November 2011), Somerset Mall (Centre Court from 15 – 18 December 2011);

Kwa-Zulu Natal – Balito Mall (18 – 23 December 2011), Gateway Shopping Mall (Convenience Court from 3 – 6 November 2011), Gateway Shopping Mall (Convenience Court from 24 – 27 November 2011), Gateway Shopping Mall (Convenience Court from 8 – 11 December 2011), Pavilion Mall (Pick ‘n Pay Court from 10 – 13 November 2011), and Pavilion Mall (Pick ‘n Pay Court from 8 – 11 December 2011).

9. The Organiser will conduct a random draw from all the entries received to determine possible winners on the 11 January 2012. Winners will be notified telephonically within 1 (one) week from date of the draw. Participants must have a valid Passport at the time of the call in order to qualify to be a Grand Prize winner, failing which the Organiser shall randomly draw another entry in the same manner as the first draw.

10. Participants may enter the Promotional Competition as many times as they wish, provided they purchase 6 (six) × Participating Products accompanied with the till slip, each time. However, participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Grand Prize under this Promotional Competition.

11. Winners will be notified telephonically as to when and where they may collect the Prizes.

12. Entries which are unclear, illegible, contain errors or from Disqualified Participants will be invalid.

13. If any of the winners cannot be reached telephonically on the day of the draw for whatsoever reason after the winners’ contact numbers are repeatedly engaged, rings continuously with no reply, or goes to voicemail, such person will be disqualified and a replacement entry will be drawn in the same manner as the first draw.

14. The Prizes are neither non-transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Organisers are not liable for any defect in the prizes. The Organisers reserve the right to substitute a prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

15. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these competition rules, the Organiser’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

16. All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Organiser, its advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Promotional Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of gross negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Organiser) and/or use of the prizes.

17. The Organiser will require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Organiser to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such winner will have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Organiser.

18. The Organiser may require the winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prizes and/or after having received their Prizes. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Organisers’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Promotional Competition.
